Hasty decisions

The King James version of Isaiah 28 verse 16 says

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. (Italics added)

Decisions that are made in haste are usually unwise or wrong decisions. Here, the Lord says that if we believe, we will not make haste, we will not rush. A key sign of our faith in God is our ability to make calm and informed decisions, even when everything around us seems to be pushing us towards making a decision in haste.

Remember this, the Spirit of the Lord is gentle. He leads, He does not push. If you feel "pushed" in your life today or in a particular decision that you need to make, then know that this "push" is not from God. Slow down, review the situation again and ask the Spirit of the Lord to lead you. I am sure that He will.
Have yourself a hassle-free day.
